You’re a content creator.

And you’re struggling to get a lot of views and engagement on your social media platforms.

So you followed a lot of social media experts to help solve the problem of boosting your content’s visibility.

But the experts aren’t saying the same thing!

Some suggest publishing your content during the morning – but others say nighttime.

Some say you should post more content on weekdays – but others say weekends.

And lastly, some experts advise tracking your social media analytics to determine the best posting times that really work for you — but this can be too technical for the average person.

If you want an easier way to find the best posting times for each social media channel, use Buffer.

Buffer is a social media management tool famous for its post-scheduling feature. It also helps show your best posting times once you connect your social media platforms.

Let me show you how.

1. Sign up in Buffer.

Go to Buffer.com. Type in your email.

Create a strong password. Buffer requires a minimum of 8 characters, a combination of letters, numbers, and at least 1 uppercase.

2. Select the “Publishing” option.

Choose the “Publishing” option.

It will redirect you to a new window so you can start connecting your social media channels.

3. Connect your social media channel.

A free Buffer account allows you to connect up to 3 social media platforms. It can be any of the following:

  • Tiktok (Business Account)
  • Google Business Profile (Business Account)
  • Instagram (Business Account)
  • Facebook (Page or Group)
  • Twitter (Profile)
  • LinkedIn (Page or Profile)
  • Pinterest (Profile)

But in this article, I’ll only show Facebook as an example.

To begin, select the “Facebook” option.

Once your Facebook Page is connected, you can access Buffer’s main platform.

  1. To view your social media’s best posting times, click the “Publishing” navigation.
  2. Select your newly added Facebook Page.
  3. Click on the “Queue” menu.
  4. Select the “Day” viewing format.

And that’s it! You can now see your best posting times.

In my example, the best posting times for my “Facebook Page 1” are 9:28 AM and 5:42 PM.

To check if the best posting times differ from one page to another, I connected a new Facebook Page to my Buffer account.

And here’s the result:
